Development of consumer packaging design
The consumer packaging of the Christmas tree toy developed within the framework of the project ensures the original performance of the storage function. Together with the elements of transformation, packaging becomes an integral part of the holiday, as it itself becomes a decorative element, a pleasant gift and an addition to the main product.

Design features are identified using graphics. So, paper locks are decorated with a design – a drawing of forest animals. Each package implies the storage of a Christmas tree toy of a certain type – in accordance with each animal.
As part of the project, we have developed consumer packaging for a series of Christmas toys.
The original packaging design provides:
- storage of fragile Christmas tree toys (due to the multilayer frame);
- transformation into another Christmas tree toy (by manipulating the packaging);
- the possibility of reassembly and disassembly of the structure.
Annotation
Details
When opening the package, we see a Christmas tree toy wrapped in the "tail" of a fox.
Next, we can pull out the toy and close the box – and so, in the closed state, hang it on the Christmas tree – there are special holes for thread on top.

Another option is when we take out the toy and pull the "tail" – then the package automatically unfolds, the fox has a trunk, paws. Next, you need to bend the packaging in the right place near the ears and here is a new toy that can also be hung on the Christmas tree.
Transformation
The graphics of the series are based on stylized images of forest animals. To support the overall line, I positioned all objects and decorative elements equally on all packages of the series.

The color key was formed based on their main color of the animal – then light and dark contrasts were selected, as well as an accent color for the animal's eyes.
Graphics development
The constructive advantage of packaging makes it competitive - since buying one toy,
the consumer receives a second one as a gift.

Branded packaging is made of cardboard with a thickness of 350 g/m2. Thanks to the layering and various paper locks, the packaging holds its shape perfectly without gluing.

The graphic solution of the packaging emphasizes the functional features of the design.
Our branded line includes 3 varieties of transformer packages with different Christmas toys inside.
